Responsibilities:
The selected candidate will be responsible for the full spectrum of Supply Chain function including Procurement, Materials Management and Logistics. The primary focus at this stage is sourcing and supplier development as well implementation of corporate SCM systems. Leading a lean team (about 5 key people), he/she will lead key initiatives in vendor management and supply chain optimization; and work closely with Asian as well as global operations to ensure delivery of desired results. The position requires extensive travel within China and Taiwan and client sites in North America and Europe.
Requirements:
Ideal candidates would be experienced and mature techno-commercial leaders with strong entrepreneurial flair. They should preferably hold a degree/diploma in engineering from premier institutes. An MBA would be preferred.

Candidates must have a minimum of 12 years of relevant experience in the Electronics Component sector, of which at least the last 3 should be in a similar or related position.

In-depth knowledge of and contacts with suppliers in China and Taiwan, extremely strong commercial/contractual negotiation skills, ability to resolve conflicts and maintain relationships, and strong project management/coordination skills will be critical.

Exposure to supply chain function in Precision Injection Molding, Cable Assembly, Precision Stamping and Wire harness assembly would be ideal.

Candidates must demonstrate proven leadership and man-management skills; ability to adapt to rapid changes and growth; strong business focus; a solution-oriented approach; and excellent English and Mandarin communication/presentation skills.
